With furniture that stays outside all day and all night long, good quality is truly essential. And besides quality itself, it is important to take care of your furniture; if they get dirty they need to be cleaned, for example. Many outdoor furniture items can be rinsed with water and some can be treated with detergents. Over the winter, when the furniture is not in use, it is a good idea to store them under a roof in the garage or something of the sort. If there is no garage available, covering the furniture with tarpaulin or equivalent might work.
Choosing an outdoor armchair can be tricky, and also quite pricy. Most often, price reflects quality and is therefore worth it, but if you do not feel like investing in a more expensive chair, cheaper alternatives are easy to beef up; buying pillows, redoing the upholstery, or hanging a plaid over the armrest can change an armchair completely.
