The Buckminster table lamp from Flyte is named after the American inventor Buckminster Fuller and it consists of a base of durable walnut wood, a copper cap, an aluminium ring and an Edison style borosilicate glass bulb with star-shaped filament and 7 LED.
The playful and award-winning vintage design allows Flyte to hover in mid-air using magnetic levitation, making the viewer highly mesmerized with its efficiency and functionality. The energy-efficient LEDs inside the shatterproof light bulb have a light-up time of 50,000 hours, equivalent to 12 hours a day for 11 years or 6 hours a day for 22 years!
