Tove Slotte-Elevant has adapted Tove Jansson's beautiful motifs and illustrations on the porcelain and this pattern have its roots in the story of when a big comet was heading towards the to earth and everyone started moving away from Mumindalen. In the end, the comet is driven away by nature's own forces and the whole Mumindalen can finally breathe out and move home again. These lovely jars and other Moomin series products will complete your tablecloth with your very own Mumindal!
This jar is dishwasher safe, freezer proof, microwave proof and oven proof up to 250 °C, but this does not apply to the ceramic lid.
