Maya Basket Round 20 cm

The Mayan basket is a graphic masterpiece born out of the idiom of the 1970s, designed by Giulio Confalonieri. The characteristic, almost hypnotic line structure is a two-dimensional graphic skilfully translated into a three-dimensional form by cold-forming steel - a clear example of Alessi's ability to combine industrial precision with poetic design.

In this 20 cm diameter version, the original elegance of polished stainless steel returns, while two new iridescent colour variations add a modern, shimmering dimension. They move between green and violet tones, giving the basket a look that changes with the light, making it as much a decorative object as a practical container.
