The Teema plate from Iittala is the largest plate in the series and is ideal for dinners, generous salads or as a serving dish. The plate has a timeless and functional expression that is complemented by a soft but personal colour that enhances everyday tableware. Made of white porcelain, a durable material that is adapted for daily use.
Teema was designed by the Finnish designer Kaj Franck, who as early as 1952 revolutionised the view of tableware with his groundbreaking Kilta collection, later further developed and renamed Teema in 1981. The collection is based on Franck's values of sustainability, moderation and equality and has become an icon of Nordic design.
