Trifolium Bat Chair, Steel Frame, Leather Cognac

Trifolium Armchair from OX Denmarq, designed by Dennis Marquart. This design classic is also called the "bat chair" because of its special design. The construction is simple and elegant with a base of steel and seat of 100% vegetable tanned leather, with a thickness of at least 3 mm. The leather gains a beautiful patina over the years that gives the chair an even more beautiful look. This occurs naturally after exposure to light, time and usage.

Ox Denmarq works mainly with leather from Spain and the leather surface is not modified. Spanish livestock usually spends most of its life outdoors in nature instead of indoors, which leaves traces such as insect bites and scars. These marks tell a story about the history and reflect a natural product. Each product, therefore, becomes unique and differences in colour and surface occur. Protective gliders must be fixed on the legs of the chair.
