Ultima Thule on-the-rocks glass is an elegant glass that seems to float above the table, refracting and reflecting light in the unique glass bubbles and creating a sense of Arctic stillness. Inspired by the raw beauty of Finnish nature, Tapio Wirkkala worked closely with the glassblowers at the Iittala factory for almost a thousand hours to recreate a miniature ice-covered Finnish island. The result is an iconic design that defies convention and combines art with function.
