Äng Vase Rectangular

Äng in a rectangular design, designed by Eva Schildt for Klong, is perfect for placing on a shelf or in the window. Äng means meadow in Swedish, and just like the flowers on a meadow they can be spread out in the Äng vase.

The vase itself is made of brass treated to the deep blue-black colour and with a brass insert that is handmade. The insert is varnished to withstand water but needs to be wiped off from sap so that it does not become discoloured. The vase can be hand washed with regular detergents.

Care instructions:
Change the water and wipe off the brass inset and the box regularly to avoid deposits and particles to decompose the finish on the surface. If this is not taken cared of regularly the brass may be discoloured.

When the vase has been used for a while a beautiful patina will show, which gives the organic pattern of the brass inset a matching tone. Both the box and the brass inset are made by hand which contributes to the organic impression. Because of this, smaller variations in its aesthetics may occur. Every vase is unique.
