• Polished brass
  This is a shiny brass that is polished and lacquered and will not be aging or patinated with time. That's because the material is not in direct contact with air or other elements thanks to the lacquered surface.

• Untreated polished brass
  Polished brass - not lacquered. This is polished shiny brass that will age over time because it is not coated with lacquer. Compared to the lacquered handle, you can see if you look closely that the lacquer surface is oily and shines in blue.

  This is neither polished nor lacquered. Untreated brass comes directly from the lathe and has a rough matt surface. Untreated brass is aged and patinated faster than treated brass.
