Autumn home décor trends 2021

This autumn we are seeing muted colour palettes with dabbles of wood and natural materials, but with bursts of colour to cheer up the atmosphere. Purple, red, and mint are seen in jolly interior details. We are seeing at-home offices take up more space, different hues of green dominate, and flirting with all things rustic grow stronger. As we wrote in our first trend report of the year, sober, beige colours with wood like oak and walnut are still on top. The wood shades are darkening ever so slightly for autumn, and we're seeing some murkier colours being added on.

Teddy, chenille, and sheepskin go swell with soft-shaped furniture. The &Tradition classic Little Petra has got a new friend, Wulff, and New Works' sofa series is a bullseye for this autumn's trends.

There are 4 other clear trends this autumn; let's run through them below.
