Satellite Pendant 27 cm, Shy Cherry

Satellite is an iconic pendant lamp from GUBI, designed by Mathieu Matégot in 1953. With its sculptural shape and playful silhouette, it is an expressive addition to all types of interiors - from dining rooms and living rooms to hotel environments and restaurants. The lamp is made of Rigitulle - a unique, fabric-like metal material that Matégot itself developed and patented. The perforated surface provides a soft, atmospheric play of light while creating a characteristic expression of light and shadows on the surrounding walls and floor. The inspiration for the name Satellite comes from post-war scientific advances in France, which Matégot chose to honour with this forward-looking design.
