Kay Bojesen was the man who gave wooden figures lives. He was born in Copenhagen in 1886 and first worked as a silverman for Georg Jensen. 1919 was the beginning of a new era, his son Otto was born and his imagination and fascination for wooden toys began. It became the start of what has today become the real design classic. Kay Bojesen is today celebrated as one of Denmark's biggest designers.
