Arabia's new Moomin motif is taken from the series Moomin Winter (1959) and Låtsaslek (1965). The motif shows when Moomin mama cleans the garden land together with her maid Misan, and when she takes time for herself and enjoys a cup of coffee. The original drawings are made by Tove Jansson, and the design is made by Tove Slotte. The new Moomin motif can also be found on a bowl and plate.

Super nice mug.
However, sad that it didn't come in a box like I've seen other Moomin mugs do.
I bought this as a gift and think it takes away from the experience that it was not packaged in a box.
