I chose this picnic blanket because it protects against moisture and is easy to carry. Disappointed that it cannot be washed and that it is not stated in the description. They think it's strange with a picnic blanket that cannot be machine washed. and that lowers the rating considerably. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I wouldn't be able to wash it.
