Description
Unlike traditional pendants made from glass or metal, Mollis is crafted using a 3D knitting process, with the knitted shade pulled over a simple metal frame. This minimalist construction uses minimal material and allows the shade to be easily removed for washing or replacement.
The integrated LED directs most of the light downward while the knitted fabric softly diffuses it, creating a gentle, ambient glow. The open-knit pattern allows light to pass through, highlighting the lamp’s shape and architectural form. With its timeless design and sculptural presence, Mollis evokes the grandeur of a cathedral dome – only knitted.
