This housegod is part of Kosta Boda's tribute collection, created in memory of Ulrika Hydman Vallien, a colourful icon in Swedish art. The design is a combination of good craftsmanship and playfulness, and the beautiful details against the clear glass make the housegod to a fine interior detail at home.
Kosta Boda (originally Kosta Glasbruk) was founded in 1742 by two highly decorated soldiers from the army of legendary King Charles XII: Field Marshall Baron Georg Bogislaus Staël von Holstein and Lieutenant General Anders Koskull. Almost three centuries later, the oldest Swedish glassworks company has also grown to become arguably the best in the country.
