Citrus squeezers

The word freshly pressed is something you frequently see being used in cafés and on juice packaging in recent years. Drinking something that is not from concentrate is both healthier and tastier. With a citrus press you can get freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning, freshly squeezed lime in your party drink or fresh lemon juice for cooking.

Citrus press features

Having a citrus press at home can feel luxurious. Being able to squeeze citrus fruits yourself is a luxury, but it doesn’t have to be expensive. Citrus presses come in both electric and manual versions, allowing you to choose a price level that suits you. Most presses are designed in a similar way, with a pointed top with ridges and a container underneath. When you press the fruit against the top, the juice flows down into the container. Electric models differ in that the top rotates, extracting the juice more efficiently.

Citrus press as an interior detail

Kitchen tools are practical and help with cooking, but they can also serve as interior design elements. Even something as simple as a citrus press can enhance the overall look of your kitchen. A clear example is the Juicy Salif citrus press designed by Philippe Starck, shaped like a spaceship and now considered a design classic.
