Alessi kettle made of mirror polished stainless steel with a melodic whistle in brass and a black handle in PA. Is has a magnetic steel bottom for even heat distribution, which can also be used on induction hobs. The designer Richard Sapper created this kettle with a different whistle consisting of two small vents that create a sweet melody when the water begins to boil.

Alessi has been producing innovative and high-quality Italian designer homeware, kitchenware and home décor since its founding in 1935. The Crusinallo-based company was established by the late Giovanni Alessi sometime after World War I primarily as a manufacturer of stainless steel cutlery. Very fun with a melody when the water boils!
Another hidden function is that you can keep the spout open by pushing the opening mechanism to the left/right in a notch.
Good quality all over!
The only negative is that the rubber on the opening mechanism can come out a little, but it never comes off completely and can easily be pushed back.
