Alessi has been producing innovative and high-quality Italian designer homeware, kitchenware and home décor since its founding in 1935. The Crusinallo-based company was established by the late Giovanni Alessi sometime after World War I primarily as a manufacturer of stainless steel cutlery. By the 1970s, Alessi has built a reputation as one of the finest design houses in Italy and was frequently dubbed as one of the country’s “Design Factories.”
Almost nine decades on, the Alessi design remains true to its heritage and all of its products continue to be produced from its original factory in Piedmont, Italy.
Alessi’s assortment of chic homeware makes it easy to enhance the beauty and sophistication of your home. The La Stanza Dello Scirocco wall clock, for instance, will blow you away with its geometric design using rectangular pieces of polished stainless steel. It’s almost an art piece!
The Blow Up Magazine Holder, meanwhile, constructed using multiple pieces of stainless steel rods, looks like something you’d find in an art museum.
Just a few more of this, and your home will morph into a contemporary art showroom.
When it comes to kitchenware, the Alessi kettle has few equals. Reportedly, over 1.5 million units have been sold since American architect Michael Graves introduced his design to the world. At a glance, the design is simple – polished stainless steel body, magnetic steel bottom and plastic handle. However, the blend has created something that resonates with most people – especially the small bird which sits on the kettle spout and sings a unique melody when the water starts to boil.
Whether it’s for your living room, kitchen, bedroom or even patio, Alessi will have something that will sprinkle a little stardust into your life!
