About the brand
Alessi has been producing innovative and high-quality Italian designer homeware, kitchenware and home décor since its founding in 1935. The Crusinallo-based company was established by the late Giovanni Alessi sometime after World War I primarily as a manufacturer of stainless steel cutlery. By the 1970s, Alessi has built a reputation as one of the finest design houses in Italy and was frequently dubbed as one of the country’s “Design Factories.”
