Description
Crackle vase circular from Kosta Boda is an artistic and expressive object where traditional glass craftsmanship meets a modern, circular choice of material. The characteristic surface is created through an ancient technique where the hot glass is rapidly cooled in ice-cold water, producing the brittle, cracked lines that make each vase vibrant and unique.

The vase is made in Kosta Boda's own glassworks from recycled mixed glass. This means that the colour varies from production to production - from clear glass to deeper, darker tones. Each piece thus has its own colour DNA, making each vase completely unique. A sculptural interior detail that works equally well with flowers as a stand-alone art object.

About the brand
Kosta Boda (originally Kosta Glasbruk) was founded in 1742 by two highly decorated soldiers from the army of legendary King Charles XII: Field Marshall Baron Georg Bogislaus Staël von Holstein and Lieutenant General Anders Koskull. Almost three centuries later, the oldest Swedish glassworks company has also grown to become arguably the best in the country.
