The knife with six virtues crafted for total versatility. An innovative reimagining of the traditional Santoku, the Wüsthof Performer rotoku blends the best of Asian and European knife design. Its 18 cm wide blade makes fine slicing, rapid chopping and precise plating effortless — and doubles as a practical tool for scooping and transferring ingredients from board to pan or plate.
The curved edge combines the smooth rocking action of a Western chef’s knife with the precision of an Eastern blade. Hollow indentations reduce friction and prevent sticking for efficient slicing. Expanding on the Santoku’s three virtues — meat, fish, and vegetables — the Rotoku adds chopping, serving, and transporting. “Rotoku” comes from the Japanese roku, meaning “six”.
Part of the Performer series, it features a deep-black DLC coating for strength and durability, plus a non-slip Hexagon Power Grip© for total control. A perfect balance of elegance and performance.
